The following information provides a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit our website. Personal data refers to all data with which you can be personally identified. Detailed information on data protection can be found in our privacy policy listed below this text.

Data Collection on Our Website

Who is responsible for data collection on this website?

Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. Their contact details can be found in the legal notice (Imprint) of this website.

How do we collect your data?

Your data is collected, on the one hand, by you providing it to us. This may, for example, be data you enter into a contact form. Other data is automatically collected by our IT systems when you visit the website. This data is primarily technical data (e.g. internet browser, operating system, or time of page access). The collection of this data occurs automatically as soon as you enter our website.

What do we use your data for?

Part of the data is collected to ensure the error-free provision of the website. Other data may be used to analyze your user behavior.

What rights do you have regarding your data?

You have the right to obtain information free of charge at any time about the origin, recipients, and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have the right to request the correction, blocking, or deletion of this data. For this as well as for further questions on the subject of data protection, you may contact us at any time at the address provided in the Imprint. Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

General Notes and Mandatory Information

Data Protection

The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations as well as this privacy policy. When you use this website, various personal data are collected. Personal data is any data with which you can be personally identified. This privacy policy explains which data we collect and what we use it for. It also explains how and for what purpose this happens. We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) may have security vulnerabilities. Complete protection of the data against access by third parties is not possible.

Note on the Responsible Authority

The responsible authority for data processing on this website is:

Suatec GmbH

Hans-Koch-Ring 16
21493 Schwarzenbek

+49 4155 / 7188 0
kontakt@suatec.de

https://www.suatec.de

The responsible authority is the natural or legal person who, alone or together with others, decides on the purposes and means of processing personal data (e.g. names, e-mail addresses, etc.).

Revocation of Your Consent to Data Processing

Many data processing operations are only possible with your explicit consent. You can revoke consent that you have already given at any time. An informal message by email to us is sufficient for this purpose. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

Right to Lodge a Complaint with the Competent Supervisory Authority

In the event of data protection violations, the data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. The competent supervisory authority for data protection issues is the state data protection officer of the federal state in which our company has its registered office. A list of data protection officers and their contact details can be found at the following link: https://www.bfdi.bund.de/DE/Infothek/Anschriften_Links/anschriften_links-node.html.

Right to Data Portability

You have the right to receive data that we process automatically based on your consent or in fulfillment of a contract in a common, machine-readable format either for yourself or for a third party. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done insofar as it is technically feasible.

SSL or TLS Encryption

This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser’s address line changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line. When SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Information, Blocking, Deletion

Within the framework of applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to obtain free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of data processing, and, if applicable, a right to correction, blocking, or deletion of this data.

For this and further questions on the subject of personal data, you may contact us at any time at the address provided in the Imprint.

Data Collection on Our Website

Cookies

The websites sometimes use so-called cookies. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our offering more user-friendly, effective, and secure. Cookies are small text files stored on your computer and saved by your browser. Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies.” They are automatically deleted after your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser upon your next visit.
You can configure your browser to inform you whenever cookies are set, to allow cookies only in individual cases, to exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, or to activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited. Cookies required for the electronic communication process or for providing certain functions desired by you (e.g. shopping cart function) are stored based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies to ensure the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services.

Where other cookies (e.g. cookies used for analyzing your surfing behavior) are stored, these will be treated separately in this privacy policy. We transmit personal data collected within the scope of this contractual relationship relating to the application, execution, and termination of this business relationship as well as data relating to non-contractual or fraudulent behavior to CRIF Bürgel GmbH, Leopoldstraße 244, 80807 Munich.

The legal basis for these transmissions is Article 6 paragraph 1 letter b and Article 6 paragraph 1 letter f of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Transmissions based on Article 6 paragraph 1 letter f GDPR may only take place insofar as this is necessary to safeguard the legitimate interests of our company or third parties and does not outweigh the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject requiring the protection of personal data. The exchange of data with CRIFBÜRGEL also serves to fulfill legal obligations to conduct creditworthiness checks of customers (§ 505a and 506 of the German Civil Code).

CRIFBÜRGEL processes the received data and also uses it for the purpose of profiling (scoring) to provide its contractual partners in the European Economic Area and Switzerland, as well as possibly in other third countries (provided an adequacy decision by the European Commission exists), with information, among other things, for assessing the creditworthiness of natural persons. Further information on the activities of CRIFBÜRGEL can be found in the CRIFBÜRGEL information sheet or online at www.crifbuergel.de/de/datenschutz.

Server Log Files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
Browser type and browser version
Operating system used
Referrer URL
Hostname of the accessing computer
Time of server request
IP address
This data will not be merged with other data sources. The basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, which permits the processing of data for fulfilling a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Contact Form

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, the information you provide in the inquiry form, including your contact details, will be stored for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass this data on without your consent. The processing of the data entered into the contact form is therefore carried out exclusively based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You may revoke this consent at any time. An informal email request to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected. The data you entered in the contact form will remain with us until you request deletion, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose of data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your inquiry has been completed). Mandatory statutory provisions – especially retention periods – remain unaffected.

Plugins and Tools

YOUTUBE

We have integrated YouTube Video on our website. YouTube Video is a component of the video platform YouTube, LLC, on which users can upload content, share it over the internet, and access detailed statistics. YouTube Video allows us to integrate content from the platform into our website. YouTube Video uses cookies and other browser technologies to analyze user behavior, recognize users, and create user profiles. This information is used, among other things, to analyze the activity of the played content and to create reports. If a user is registered with YouTube, LLC, YouTube Video can associate the played videos with their profile. When you access this content, you establish a connection to servers of YouTube, LLC, whereby your IP address and possibly browser data such as your user agent are transmitted.

Purpose and Legal Basis

The use of the service is based on our legitimate interest, i.e. interest in a platform-independent provision of content in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

Storage Duration

The specific storage duration of the processed data is not influenced by us but is determined by YouTube, LLC. More information can be found in the privacy policy for YouTube Video:
https://policies.google.com/privacy

Google Double Click

We have integrated components of DoubleClick by Google on our website. DoubleClick is a brand of Google that predominantly markets specialized online marketing solutions to advertising agencies and publishers. DoubleClick by Google transmits data to the DoubleClick server with every impression, click, or other activity.
Each of these data transmissions triggers a cookie request to the browser of the data subject. If the browser accepts this request, DoubleClick places a cookie in your browser. DoubleClick uses a cookie ID which is required for executing the technical process. The cookie ID is needed, for example, to display an advertisement in a browser. DoubleClick can also record which ads have already been shown in a browser via the cookie ID to prevent duplicate placements. Furthermore, DoubleClick can detect conversions using the cookie ID. Conversions are recorded, for example, when a user previously viewed a DoubleClick ad and subsequently makes a purchase on the advertiser’s website using the same internet browser. A DoubleClick cookie contains no personal data but may include additional campaign identifiers. A campaign identifier is used to identify the campaigns with which you have already interacted on other websites. Under this service, Google gains knowledge of data which also serves to create commission invoices. Google can track, among other things, that you have clicked on certain links on our website. Your data is passed on in this case to the operator of DoubleClick, Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043-1351, USA. Further information and the applicable data protection regulations of DoubleClick by Google can be retrieved at https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/.

Purpose and Legal Basis

We process your data using the DoubleClick cookie for the purpose of optimizing and displaying advertising based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. Your consent is given through cookie settings (cookie banner / consent manager), which you may revoke at any time with effect for the future pursuant to Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR. The cookie is used, among other things, to display user-relevant advertising, create or improve advertising campaign reports, and avoid multiple displays of the same advertisement. Each time one of the individual pages of our website containing a DoubleClick component is accessed, your browser is automatically prompted by the respective DoubleClick component to transmit data to Google for the purpose of online advertising and commission accounting. There is no legal or contractual obligation to provide your data. If you do not grant us your consent, visiting our website is still possible without restriction; however, not all features may be fully available.

Storage Duration

The specific storage duration of the processed data is not influenced by us but is determined by Google LLC. Further information can be found in the privacy policy for Google DoubleClick:

https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Google Tag Manager

Our website uses Google Tag Manager. This service allows website tags to be managed via an interface. The Google Tool Manager only implements tags. This means: No cookies are used and
no personal data are collected. The Google Tool Manager triggers other tags that may collect data. However, Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If a deactivation has been carried out on the domain or cookie level, it remains in effect for all tracking tags implemented with Google Tag Manager. The deactivation at domain or cookie level remains in place for all tracking tags implemented with Google Tag Manager. The privacy policy of Google can be found at:

https://policies.google.com/privacy/partners?hl=de

The company Google is certified for the US-European data protection agreement “Privacy Shield.” This data protection agreement is intended to ensure compliance with the data protection level applicable in the EU.

Google Web Fonts

For this purpose, the browser you are using must connect to Google’s servers. By doing so, Google becomes aware that our website was accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web Fonts is in the interest of a uniform and attractive presentation of our online offerings. This represents a legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

If your browser does not support web fonts, a default font from your computer will be used.

Further information on Google Web Fonts can be found at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy/partners?hl=de.

General Notes on Our Presence in Social Networks

To present our company in the best possible way and to communicate with you as users, customers, or interested parties, and to inform you about our services, we rely on our presence on social networks.

You can find us on the following platforms or social networks

  • Facebook
  • Instagram

When using social networks, data may be processed outside the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA). An equivalent level of data protection as exists in the EU cannot be guaranteed in all countries outside the EU.
In this context, risks may arise for you as a user when the transmitted data is processed in so-called third countries with an insufficient level of data protection.

This makes it more difficult to enforce known user rights. Additionally, your data may be processed by the provider in the third country in ways that are not in your interest.

NOTE on the invalid Privacy Shield agreement:
Facebook Inc., headquartered in the USA, as well as related services (Instagram etc.), previously held “Privacy Shield” certification for the US-EU data protection agreement. Due to a recent ruling by the ECJ, the agreement no longer provides sufficient proof of compliance with the level of protection required by the EU General Data Protection Regulation.

Due to the current legally uncertain situation, we would like to inform you that we provide the use of Facebook services and the provision of content on social media platforms based on your “implied” consent given to us (Art. 6 para. 1 a GDPR). By visiting the pages and consenting to the cookies set, you consent to the processing and transmission of your personal data.

The processing purposes pursued by social networks usually differ from ours. The data collected about you in social networks is often processed for market research, advertising purposes, and the creation of user profiles for personalized advertising (e.g. Facebook, Google, Instagram etc.).

To achieve this, cookies are used to record user behavior and enable the creation of user profiles. In the case of Facebook, profiles are also created for people who do not have a registered Facebook account.
A detailed list of the processing purposes of user data can be found in the respective provider’s privacy notices. By making appropriate settings in your user account, the creation of profiles can at least be limited. Please refer to the provider’s respective privacy notices for exact instructions.

Facebook Fanpage

When visiting our Facebook page, Facebook collects, among other things, your IP address and additional information stored in cookies on your PC. This information is used to provide us, as operators of the Facebook page, with statistical information about the usage of the Facebook page. Further information is available at the following link: http://de-de.facebook.com/help/pages/insights .

The statistical information provided does not allow us to draw conclusions about individual users. We use the information solely to tailor our content to user interests and continuously improve our online presence and ensure its quality.

We collect your data via our fan page only to enable communication and interaction with us. This typically includes your name, message content, comment content, and publicly visible profile information.

The processing of your personal data for the purposes mentioned above is based on our legitimate economic and communicative interest in offering an information and communication channel pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 f GDPR. If you have given consent to the respective social network provider, the legal basis extends to Art. 6 para. 1 a, Art. 7 GDPR.

Since the actual data processing is carried out by the provider of the social network, our access to your data is limited. Only the provider of the social network is authorized to access your data in full. Therefore, only the provider can take appropriate measures to fulfill your user rights (information request, deletion request, objection, etc.). Thus, asserting your rights is most effective when done directly with the respective provider.

If you still need assistance, feel free to contact us.

Data Subject Rights

The Facebook “Page Controller Addendum” outlines the rights and obligations to be observed jointly with Facebook. This can be found at the following link: https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms/page_controller_addendum

If you submit an information request, we will forward it to Facebook and ask you to complete the contact form at https://www.facebook.com/login.php?next=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fhelp%2Fcontact%2F308592359910928.

Below you will find a detailed presentation of data processing by the providers and their opt-out options via the corresponding links to the providers’ websites:

Privacy Policy for Our Instagram Presence

Bodo Wascher Gruppe GmbH uses the services of Instagram Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA, 94025, USA, for its online presence.

If you use this Instagram page and its functions, you do so on your own responsibility. This applies especially to the use of interactive features (such as commenting or rating). Instagram collects, among other things, your IP address and other information stored in cookies on your PC. This information is used to provide us, as operators of the Instagram pages, with statistical information about the usage of the Instagram page. The data collected about you is processed by Instagram Inc. and may be transferred to countries outside the European Union. Which information Instagram receives and how it is used is described in Instagram’s privacy policy. There you will also find contact options and settings for advertising. The privacy policy is available at the following link:

https://help.instagram.com/519522125107875

How Instagram uses data from visits to Instagram pages for its own purposes, the extent to which activities on the Instagram page are assigned to individual users, how long Instagram stores this data, and whether data from visits to the Instagram page is passed on to third parties is not clearly stated by Instagram and is unknown to us. When accessing an Instagram page, the IP address assigned to your device is transmitted to Instagram. According to Instagram, this IP address is anonymized (for “German” IP addresses) and deleted after 90 days. Instagram also stores information about user devices (e.g. within the “Login Notification” function); in some cases, this allows Instagram to associate IP addresses with individual users.

If you are currently logged in to Instagram as a user, a cookie containing your Instagram user ID is stored on your device. This allows Instagram to track that you have visited and how you have used this page. This also applies to all other Instagram pages. Via Instagram buttons embedded in websites, Instagram can collect your visits to these websites and assign them to your Instagram profile. Based on this data, personalized content or advertising can be displayed.

If you want to avoid this, you should log out of Instagram or disable the “stay logged in” function, delete the cookies stored on your device, and close and restart your browser. This will delete Instagram information through which you can be directly identified. This allows you to use our Instagram page without your Instagram identifier being revealed. If you access interactive features (Like, Comment, Messaging, and more), an Instagram login screen will appear. After logging in, you will again be identifiable as a specific user for Instagram. Information on how you can manage or delete stored data about you can be found in Instagram’s help area.

We as the provider of this information service do not collect or process any additional data from your use of our service.

This privacy policy can be found in its current version under the "Data Policy" section on the respective Instagram page. When you visit one of our social media presences, such as Instagram, the visit triggers the processing of your personal data. In this case, we are jointly responsible with the operator of the respective social network, here Instagram, for the data processing operations pursuant to Art. 26 GDPR, insofar as we take a joint decision with the operator regarding data processing and influence the processing. Where possible, we have concluded agreements on joint responsibility pursuant to Art. 26 GDPR with the operators of social networks.
